Journey Jots #33

Hello, guys! Happy Sunday! Hope you are doing well.

What a week it was! I love Summertime….so many fun things happening! From Molly’s birthday party last weekend to fun bike adventures and everything in between, there’s always something to look forward to.

What’s your favorite part of Summer? I would love to know in the comments!

Life Lately

I know many of you have been waiting for photos from Molly’s 1st birthday and you are in luck because today is the day!

You guys…it was SUCH a joyous party. She is SO loved!

The birthday cake was both gorgeous and delicious 🙂

I was in charge of making the flower arrangements and it was SO much fun. I used fern and ivy clippings from my plants for the greenery and the flowers came from Trader Joe’s. It was a wildflower theme party so I tried to choose flowers that looked like they had just come from the meadow.

This one is my favorite…the flowers look so pretty in my enamel kettle!

How stinkin’ cute is this tutu outfit?!

There were a lot of people at her house, which she isn’t used to. But, uncle Mitch got her warmed up and smiling in no time 🙂

The highlight was her smash cake…she was unsure at first but then took a taste of the frosting and was like…mmm!!

After it was all said and done, this is what happened!

Hahahaha!! Frosting EVERYWHERE! Safe to say she loved it:)

We ended the week with a bike ride to a spot in the cities called Harriet Island…it’s in St. Paul right along the Mississippi River. Such a neat area to bike around!

Thank you so much for being here and joining me for journey jots #33! I love sharing a little bit of my daily life with you. Have a lovely week ahead!

Sustainable Living Tip of the Week: Instead of using store bought cleaner, buy a glass spray bottle, lemon or orange essential oil, and vinegar. Mix the oil and vinegar with water and voila! Cleaning spray that works anywhere!
