Welcome to the Home Imagined link party #17!

Hello! I’m Rachel, the blogger and content creator behind The Antiqued Journey. Here on the blog, you will find encouraging ideas about vintage and antique decor, simple home decor DIY crafts, as well as some fun thrifting adventures. If that interests you, sign up for my e-mail! This party was created to be a supportive and uplifting space for bloggers to showcase their content and for non-bloggers to glean inspiration for their homes. Anna, Meagan, and I are so grateful to have you here. We do hope you come back again and again. With that, let’s get onto the Home Imagined link party #17!

Hello, guys! Welcome to May! Gosh these months just seem to fly by.

The ice is finally out on the lakes! The ducks and birds have made their way back and it’s so nice to see the Earth come alive again.

Our latest home project was tearing down the nasty blinds that have been in our bedroom windows since we’ve lived here, which has been almost 7 years, and replacing them with pretty (and inexpensive) Ikea curtains!

We installed a double curtain rod specific for a bay window first lining it with lace curtains and then these oatmeal colored blackout curtains. You guys. Blackout curtains are life changing. We’ve been sleeping SO well and not waking up at 5:30 AM when the sun starts coming up!

Our link party is hosted every other week, so twice per month. It opens on Tuesday’s at 8 AM Central time and closes on Friday’s at 5 PM Central time. I would love to see you…invite your friends and other bloggers to join us. Each of us choose two bloggers to feature so make sure you go over to Anna and Meagan’s blogs as well to see if they highlighted your post!

I also want to mention here, and it makes me so sad, that Meagan has made the decision to take a break from blogging for awhile. She will no longer be hosting the party with us as she takes some time to be with her family. Meagan is the first blogging friend that I ‘met’ almost two years ago now and she is just the best. Please wish her well!

Home Imagined Link Party #17

As always, I have chosen 2 posts from the last link party to feature this week.

My first feature this week comes from Cindy at Reinvented Delaware. She shared the prettiest furniture flip that I’ve ever seen! Go see how Cindy gave an old luggage rack a whole new life. You won’t be disappointed and may just want to go find a luggage rack for your home!

The second feature this week comes from my friend MaryJo at Master’pieces’ of my Life. She showed us how to use burlap and unique containers to create a beautiful container garden. You have to see this…it’s genius!
