Journey Jots #21

Hello, guys! Hope you are well!

These weeks just seem to fly by. I feel like I just wrote last week’s jots but here we are again!

How are your Easter preparations coming along? Over here, the Easter bunny has prepared a special present for my niece Molly…I’m so excited for her to open it 🙂

And, I found a really yummy recipe for a lemon poppyseed bundt cake that I’m going to make for Easter brunch. Have you ever made a bundt cake? Did it turn out? I’ve never actually baked anything in a bundt pan before so I hope it comes out nicely!

Life Lately

Honestly, nothing too exciting happened over the past week. Except, somehow, our 1/4 cup measuring cup literally just disappeared!

We can’t find it anywhere…it’s so weird! Since we use that measurement quite often, I had to order a new set until the other one shows up. Has that ever happened to you?!

My niece Molly is now eating solid foods, that are obviously very mushy, but she is obsessed with it all!

Also, my parent’s watch Molly a few days a week and my mom has been working with her on core strength.

Molly loves to workout on the big exercise ball!

Lastly, we’ve still been having nice Spring weather! Tilly loves to be able to walk without being freezing cold.

This is one of our favorite walking spots near the Minnesota River!

The Antiqued Journey Soy Candles

I also have an important announcement regarding candles. Last year, I poured a certain amount of candles and when they were gone, they were gone.

But, I’m trying something new this year!

So, in the shop, you will find a listing for ‘Candles Made to Order’. Right now, I have floral and Spring scents available for order. You can choose to order any scent from the dropdown menu.

They are made the exact same way and hand-poured, by me, out of my kitchen. I’m so excited to share them with you! If you order now, they should be to you in time for your Easter celebration!

  • Hi Rachel! That vintage hankie is adorable. Don’t you love that “back in the day” women took the time to embroider charming designs on them? Oh and I LOVE vintage enamelware!
