Hello, guys! Hope you are well!

Are you starting to prepare for Easter? It’s crazy how early the holiday is this year. Usually, Easter falls right around my birthday in mid-April. It caught me off guard when I looked at the calendar saw that that’s not the case this year!

Do you have any fun Easter traditions that you do year after year? Let me know in the comments!

Life Lately

It’s been another busy week on the blog and at home. Life just hasn’t slowed down! Between work, family things, and fitting in hobbies like biking and thrifting, some days feel like a blur. But, I am continually grateful for each day and this life that I get to live.

This is how all of us feel at the end of each day lately 🙂

Tilly sleeping

Last weekend, hubby and I were lucky enough to be on niece duty for a few hours. Molly continues to amaze me with how smart she is and her joyful, bubbly personality ALL the time!

She is babbling non-stop, basically crawling, and is now eating real people foods!

Tilly LOVES Molly and was SO excited to lay on the blanket with her! Tilly even went and got one of her dog toys out of her basket and wanted Molly to play with that…it was THE CUTEST thing ever.

The weather is starting to feel more like Spring and it’s just lovely. We continue to try and take nature walks as much as we can. It gets us outside, away from screens, and re-connects us to the present moment.

The Antiqued Journey Candles

I also have an important announcement regarding candles. Last year, I poured a certain amount of candles and when they were gone, they were gone.

But, I’m trying something new this year!

So, in the shop, you will find a listing for ‘Candles Made to Order’. Right now, I have floral and Spring scents available for order. You can choose to order any scent from the dropdown menu.

They are made the exact same way and hand-poured, by me, out of my kitchen. I’m so excited to share them with you!

So fun Rachel. Yes, Easter is way too early this year. But my kids will be home from college on spring break so we’ll be able to celabrate all together. For that I am grateful. Happy Sunday friend. XO- MJ

Yes, trying to get my Easter mojo going, but it is so early! Wonderful to enjoy the Springlike days, though! Thanks for including me in your highlights this week, Rachel!

  • So glad Molly and Tilly love spending time together! They are both so cute! Glad you’re having good weather! When my boys were little we always went to church on Easter morning, and then had a big family meal with an Easter egg hunt for all the littles! I miss those days! Happy Spring!
