Life Lately

Hello, guys! Welcome to October! This is one of my favorite months out of the whole year. It’s the month where I can pull my sweaters out from the back of my closet, decorate my patio with pumpkins and enjoy the colorful leaves. I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Fall season!

We went on another fishing adventure a few weekends ago. The Fall colors were just starting and it was such a gorgeous day!

I would me remiss if I didn’t include a recent photo of my niece, Molly.

Here’s the happy baby! I mean…come on. If this doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what will!

Home Imagined Link Party #28

As always, I have chosen 2 posts from the last link party to feature this week.

The first feature this comes from my friend Donna at An Organized Season. She shared the coolest tutorial on how to build a faux fireplace mantel! What a super cool project to create if your home doesn’t have a fireplace. Go see how you can make own for yourself…it’s not as hard as you may think.

My next feature this week comes from Stephanie at Steph Creates Things. She showed us how to create a wooden riser for Fall using wooden leaves from the dollar store! This is such an affordable and easy DIY to make for the season!
