Welcome to the Home Imagined link party #24!

Hello! I’m Rachel, the blogger and content creator behind The Antiqued Journey. Here on the blog, you will find encouraging ideas about vintage and antique decor, simple home decor DIY crafts, as well as some fun thrifting adventures. If that interests you, sign up for my e-mail! This party was created to be a supportive and uplifting space for bloggers to showcase their content and for non-bloggers to glean inspiration for their homes. I am so grateful to have you here. We do hope you come back again and again. With that, let’s get onto the Home Imagined link party #24!

Life Lately

Hello, guys! Welcome to August! It’s crazy that we are in the home stretch of Summer. Even though September and October are my most favorite months to be outside here in the Midwest, August tends to be the last month when Summer unofficially draws to a close.

Tilly was under the weather for about a week and, after some research on my end, I finally figured out what has been going with her tummy for SO many years! With some new medication, she is feeling AMAZING!

My thrifting game has been strong over the past few weeks!

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw some of the pretty things I brought home.

I will be sharing more detail about these pretty old things in an upcoming thrift post soon, so stay tuned!

If you need the nudge to get out and thrift this week, here it is! Go see what you can find!

Home Imagined Link Party #24

As always, I have chosen 2 posts from the last link party to feature this week.

My first post this week comes from my friend Jen at Midwest Life and Style! Jen is the absolute queen at creating stunning and dramatic tablescapes. Her recent table display, Peach Perfection: How to Style a Stunning Summer Tablescape, is my most favorite one yet! It’s just lovely and full of so many layered textures.

My second feature this week comes from my friend Donna at An Organized Season. Her tutorial on How to Make a Shower Curtain Longer literally blew my mind!! I’m putting this on my ‘winter project’ list for sure!

I am not ready for summer to end, but then it won’t be doing so here in N GA until late September/early October! So it’s hard to get into fall decor around here. Anyway, thanks for the party!
